Paradise Street, Liverpool

This project was carried out for Laing O’Rourke on the major development works in Liverpool city centre.

Donegan Civil Engineering installed over 400 linear metres of 8m long Larsen steel sheet piles to form a 200m long, 6m wide, 6m deep trench.

Inside the trench a concrete slab was poured to act as a working platform during the steel fixing, formwork erection and casting of a 3m by 3m insitu reinforced concrete culvert.

Other works on the scheme included over 600m of foul water open-cut drainage, a 4.50m internal diameter CSO chamber and a 1500mm internal diameter pipejack.
