This project was undertaken direct for United Utilities to take 4 local properties off the flood register.

Donegan constructed a 10.30m shaft approx 6m deep to act as a surface water detention tank within the local golf course.

There was also approx 550m of both surface and foul water sewers to be upsized, ranging from 225mm upto 1200mm diameter, constructed online down small residential roads.

There was also a 450mm diameter augerbore approx 30m length under the entrance to the golf course club house to reduce any disruption.

To prevent disruption to the local residents and primary school during construction the working area was kept to a minimum as it progressed up Tennyson Avenue.
